WEEK 7 – Making the London Scene

This week I’ve said goodbye to the beach scene (for now!) and am venturing into the bustling streets of London!

I started by constructing a single street, lined with typical terraced houses. These houses, with their classic facades and charming details, instantly evoke the essence of a London neighbourhood. To capture the true spirit of a residential area, I styled the houses to reflect a lived-in feeling. Think window boxes overflowing with colourful signs on the shops, doorsteps painted in cheerful hues, and even the street lamps along the streets. It’s all about creating a sense of everyday life and community.

This week, I also created a beautiful summer sky in this scene, filled with fluffy clouds and a warm, inviting glow. It’s an accordance with the beach scene, but it perfectly captures the essence of a bright London day.

To add an extra touch of atmosphere, I added streetlights along the road. These warm, glowing lights cast a soft illumination on the scene, creating a cosy and inviting ambience. As the sun dips below the horizon, the streetlights take over, guiding the way through the twilight streets.

The TARDIS in London

I also added in the London scene, the TARDIS which was essential for this artefact. I carefully positioned the time machine on the street, with the intent of making it rotate and fly away as it normally does.

Finally, I set up a camera to capture the entire scene in all its glory. The camera will showcase the charming houses, the bright summer sky, and the TARDIS standing out as the centerpiece of this unexpected encounter.
